Our Outstanding rated SEN school in Ealing are seeking a passionate SEN teacher to join their valued, supportive team. The SEN school provides support to children aged 4 11, who have complex learning difficulties, including autism and sensory impairments, and some with challenging behaviour.
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be joining a team that is committed to providing all pupils with a highly supportive and nurturing learning environment.
Through an Adapted Curriculum that is therapeutic, hands on and functional, paired with close multi-disciplinary team work, you will create a meaningful, holistic range of lessons and activities to enhance their independence, communication skills, and social and emotional wellbeing. Job Description Primary SEN Teacher
Primary SEN Teacher
SEN School for students with complex learning difficulties, including autism and sensory impairments
Planning and delivering creative and engaging SEN lessons that are personalized to support all pupils
Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils
Promote holistic development of all pupils
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and therapists
Inner London pay scale MPS 1 M6 + SEN allowance
Located in Ealing
Person Specification Primary SEN Teacher
MUST HAVE UK QTS
Good academics required - GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards
Personal or professional experience of working with children with SEN
Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning
Experience of using a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils
Resilient and adaptable
Ability to differentiate approach based on individual needs
Calm and patient approach, promoting a nurturing learning environment whilst supporting challenging behaviours
Confident & strong classroom management skills, appropriate to childrens needs
