**Job Type:** Contract (Monday to Friday)

**Salary:** £84 -£100 a day

SEND Provision located in the London Borough of Bromley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start straight away.

The successful SEN TA / SEND TA  will provide tailored support to primary-aged pupils with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will work on a one-to-one basis as well as with small groups, ensuring that each child’s Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) targets are met and progress is tracked effectively.


  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with complex needs, including ASC, in line with their EHCPs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs.
  • Support classroom teachers in managing and organizing classroom activities and resources.
  • Deliver tailored learning activities and interventions to small groups of pupils.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of pupils, adapting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to develop effective support strategies.
  • Foster the social, emotional, and educational development of pupils with SEN.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and support provided.
  • Proven experience as an SEN TA, particularly in supporting pupils with complex needs and ASC.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of EHCPs and their application in an educational setting.
  • Experience working within a primary school environment.
  • Ability to provide effective one-to-one and small group support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable.
  • You have an Enhanced DBS or able to pay for a new one immediately
  • You can travel easily to the London Borough of Bromley
