Role Overview: As a Primary Education Student, you will have the invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the vibrant life of our school community. Working closely with experienced educators, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and development of our students aged 5-11.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Providing individualised support to students to facilitate their learning and growth.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
  • Contributing to the assessment of student progress and the development of learning resources.
  • Embracing opportunities for professional development and growth as an aspiring educator.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Primary Education or related program with an expected graduation date in 2024.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development.
  • Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
