What youll do
Your key accountabilities will include Day to day support the team in all day-to-day aspects of Clothing, Home & Beauty PR in line with the team plans and focuses Product placement & media requests - develop ideas and plans for new product launches, campaigns, influencer activity and social activity that stands strong in the industry. Respond to journalist enquiries, understand the nature of the request, speak to experts to draft quotes and use experience to form appropriate response and considered messaging. Sell in stories on a wide variety of subjects and angles based on data and insight related to customer and subject. Minimise negative coverage and liaise with Corporate PR team where necessary Media relations
maintain strong relationships with fashion assistants/deputy editors and relevant media and influencers, engaging on topical stories and suggested plans to place Support media, influencer and celebrity gifting program Internal relations - maintain strong relationships with Business area /Marketing contacts ensuring PR is kept informed of business focuses and new product developments or launches. Inspire internal teams with relevant stories in the media, as well maintaining a strong profile of PR in the business Written assets and data
write and inspire media alerts, long form releases and social captions, prepare reports and research, collate CIU data to inform projects, and collate and edit information for briefing documents. Manage, design and print press materials
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
Experience in Consumer PR essential Strong media, influencer and industry knowledge and contacts Honest and down to earth attitude with a can do approach Strong communication skills- written and verbal Love of fashion and M&S Everyones welcome
