Job Title: Premises Officer
Location: Southwark
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Premises Officer to join our team in Southwark. The Premises Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the premises, including security, health and safety, and general upkeep. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any maintenance or security issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the premises, including coordinating with external contractors when necessary
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents on the premises
- Assist with setting up and clearing spaces for events or meetings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to premises management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in premises management or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
