Precision Engineer

Job role: CNC Turner
Salary: £34,(Apply online only)-£43,(Apply online only) (£17-£21 per hour)
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Hours: 7:45-16:15 Monday to Thursday, 15:15 finish Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Holidays: 28 days including Bank Holidays

Overtime: Time 1/2

The Company:

Interaction have partnered with Precision Engineering Firm specialising in Aerospace, Motorsport and Medical Precision Engineering as they search for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be seeking a career and growth position within their forever growing business. They will need to be a strong team player.

The Role:

• You will program, set and operate multi axis Haas Turning machinery
• You will be using OneCNC for offline programming
• You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
• You will be able to read technical drawings
• You will join the busy Turning section and be extremely important to the running of the team

The Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC Turner (essential)
• Programming experience (essential)
• OneCNC experience (advantageous)
• Apprentice Trained (advantageous)
• CMM experience (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances
• Self-motivated

The Benefits:

• £34,(Apply online only)-£43,(Apply online only) salary dependent on experience
• Overtime available
• 28 days including bank holidays
