Preceptorship MidwifeNHS AfC: Band 5Job overviewFollowing registration, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust offers all newly qualified midwife (NQ) practitioners the opportunity of further developing their confidence and enhancing their clinical skills in a supportive environment. This is facilitated within the formal Preceptorship Rotational Programme. FebruaryMain duties of the jobThe post holder will undertake a 12 month rotational training programme covering all clinical areas of the Maternity Service. This includes working in an inpatient setting e.g. during an antenatal or postnatal admission of a woman to the unit; outpatient setting e.g. supporting women with antenatal care and education and intrapartum care for women e.g. assisting women in labour, during their birth and in the immediate period following birth.This rotational programme provides an opportunity to develop your confidence and enhance your clinical skills.
