With a worldwide client base, our client has supported organisations transform their IT, enabling them to reduce operating costs, increase profitability, and mitigate risk.Due to continued growth our client is looking for more experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to support an expanding sales team and customer base.– –++ We are looking for a Datacenter Presales Consultant, well versed around: Server, Storage, Virtualization, Network, Cloud & Backup, demonstrating an understanding of the customers’ business and commercial requirements, coupled with an ability to identify, design and deliver architectures, strategies and specific solutions whilst supporting the work of others ++– –THE BASICS:As Pre-Sales Consultant you will provide first class technical assistance to all members of the Sales Team – helping account managers to interpret customer requirements – lead customer meetings, conference calls and presentations.If you can actively participate in knowledge sharing; develop skills that contribute to successful performance as a Pre-Sales Consultant, provide proficient technical and market knowledge of DellEMC products, coupled with an awareness of networking and networking we’d like to hear from you.THE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:Areas of expertise including one or more of the following will hold you in good stead:-Working knowledge of virtualisation solutions based on VMware and/or Hyper-V is essential-Experience of cloud and hybrid solutions including Azure, and AWS would be an advantage.-Designing hyper-converged solutions.-Demonstrable knowledge of big data solutions (i.e. Splunk)–NAS and SAN design experience from a major vendor.–Data Protection solutions from Veritas, CommVault.-Track record of delivering comprehensive, winning proposals and full tender responsesTHE ADDITIONAL STUFF:We are looking for Consultants with a “will-do” attitude; able to communicate effectively and develop a rapport with customers, whilst demonstrating commercial awareness – consistently and successfully completing scopes, proposals and tender responses in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Individuals who have worked large enterprise and IT Resellers who have operated in a Pre Sales capacity for several years; successfully identifying needs and finding solutions will be of interest.THE CONCLUSION:Individuals with a desire to maintain their technical and industry sector knowledge; with a tenacity to complete responses to time, coupled with excellent written and telephone communications skills and a willingness for some UK and occasional international travel will be highly desired.Primary Locations :Moorgate, London and Surrey. Remote working opportunities available.UK Driver’s license required.No criminal convictions, and able to hold security vetting status of ‘SC’ would be an advantage.Please contact Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists for more information and immediate consideration, as interviews are likely to take place soon.
