Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Engineering Procurement and Construction client to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) for its Walsall site.

The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role comes with a salary of up to �85,000, 5% bonus, working fully remote.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Establish the civil pre-construction strategy, including the procurement strategy and tender preparation time schedule.
  • Establish and agree the project temporary requirements including laydown and utilities and provide inputs to the QS for inclusion into the BOQ and estimates
  • Provide inputs to the civil tender time schedule in conjunction with the Tender Manager Civil and Civil Scheduler
  • Prepare construction sequences and methodologies, milestone and payment schedules for the subcontract

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

� Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.

Personal skills

The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role would suit someone who is:

  • Experienced in Construction Management and / or Commercial Management background in heavy civils plant projects
  • Able to communicate complex technical issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Familiar with the Tools and Procedures used (user knowledge of PIRS, SAP and MS Project)
  • Strong project management skills and able to handle multiple-projects in conjunction

Salary and benefits of the Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role

� Salary upto �85,000 DOE

� Fully Remote position

� 5% bonus
