This role could suit someone from a sub-contractor background (electrical, mechanical, partitions, ceilings, joinery etc). Design & Build knowledge would be great (though not mandatory!), we would also gladly welcome applications from those with Construction related degrees who have some work experience in industry too! Your focus will be… Shadowing and assisting Project DirectorAttend site visits with Pre-Construction Manager and First Appointments to take notes and brief on new projects;Carry out site surveys and assist take subcontractors to site to discuss scope for pricingCreate bid lists for projects for the supply chain we will enquire prices fromCreate tender to be issued to supply chainCreating scope of works and collating costs for worksCarrying out take offs for measurementsAssist in putting together programmes in Microsoft ProjectsAttend Presentations to shadow Pre-Construction and start to progress to having a contribution to the PitchCoordinate with Design team to ensure design has been captured in scope of worksCoordinate with Graphics assisting the Pre-Construction on the final productYou will bring to the table…Experience within Design and Build (not mandatory - but GREAT to have!)Tech savvy with the ability to learn new systemsApproachable, friendly, and positiveResilient with a flexible, ‘can-do’ approach to workClient focusedA team player and able to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of peopleExcited and passionate about working as part of a teamSelf-motivated and capable of working autonomously when neededWe will bring to the table… Industry leading salary, bonus + pension scheme26 days annual leave + bank holidaysDeath in ServiceCompany social events throughout the calendar yearAnnual company summer tripReward & Recognition schemePersonal Development & Training…. and many other company benefits & perks!
