Practice Accountant (Accountancy Firm)

Location: Essex (Hybrid)

Salary: £25k - £55k pro rata + Excellent Benefits

Part-Time, Monday & Wednesday, 9:30am - 2:00pm (13.5 hours)

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice, specialising in outsourced financial services and business growth support.

The Role:

As a Practice Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in creating precise and compliant financial statements for a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Handle VAT, corporation, and personal tax returns, enhancing clients' tax efficiency.


• Provide timely advice and solutions to client queries, building strong relationships.


• Collaborate with client managers and senior staff to coordinate workloads and meet deadlines.


• Mentor and oversee staff members, contributing to their professional growth.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Practice Accountant or in a similar role.


• Qualified / part-qualified, or at least 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.


• Strong numerical aptitude and outstanding communication skills.


• A-Level or equivalent qualifications would be preferred.
