The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for managing clients accounts, preparing financial statements, checking work, supervising our team and providing strategic financial advice to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of clients accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulationsPrepare financial statements and corporation tax returnsConduct financial analysis and provide insights to clients to help them make informed business decisionsAssist clients with tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returnsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on financial mattersStay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiencyCollaborate with team members to optimise processes and deliver exceptional service to clientsAssist with workflow management, team overview and deadline reviewsReview other team members work including VAT returns, bookkeeping, accounts & tax returnsAssist with anti-money laundering requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualification3+ years of experience in public accounting or a similar roleProficiency in accounting software such as Xero or similar programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracyBenefits:Competitive salary depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and death in serviceOpportunities for professional development and advancementCollaborative and supportive work environmentHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and experienced Practice Accountant looking for a new opportunity to grow your career, we would love to hear from you.
