PR & Partnerships Manager - Based Worthing (Must be able to visit Worthing twice a week)

We are looking for a new PR & Partnerships Manager to join our hearty crew and support us to be the driving force behind external communications and strategic collaborations. In this role, the successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping and leading the PR side of the business, as well as managing key accounts.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing all PR campaigns, media releases and coverage for some of our clients and partnerships across the water and climate-tech markets. Specifically, you will be required to:
and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, PR and press agencies, influencers and industry stakeholders.
with our internal team on editorial, marketing and social media to help deliver coordinated communications for our core clients
and assess PR and client partnership metrics to allow us to optimise media reach and performance
research to stay up to date with industry trends.
SEO best practices to enhance content discoverability; and
with the Managing Director to develop and retain new business. You will not be expected to do so from day one, but a keen interest in doing so, will be desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Environmental Studies/Sustainability or a related field.
history of working in a PR role or working on successful PR campaigns or securing media coverage. Highly desirable for this to have been in the Environmental or Sustainability space.
of working in an agency environment is highly advantageous, or within a team PR environment.
with creative flair and the ability to generate innovative ideas welcomed.
of working within a B2B or client-based environment essential.
communication skills, including writing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail.
people skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
with a passion for sustainability and environment issues highly desirable
of SEO, desirable.
