Are you looking for a new challenge in PR? Buro Happold has an exciting opportunity for a PR Manager to join our team in Bath or London. This is a full-time permanent role and offers a hybrid working environment. You will be part of the UK Marketing & PR team in a role that covers our five UK markets (Bath, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, and London). We’re looking for a professional with experience in both public relations and team management who can develop and maintain important relationships with UK media and our retained PR agency. Working with our technical teams to find press opportunities, and to leverage our brand story across the ever-expanding digital landscape, including social media.

Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media Coordinate all public relations activities and work with retained PR agency Manage direct media inquiries and interview requests Create content for news releases and byline articles Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results monthly Build relationships with Buro Happold’s Global thought leadership and PR functions to grow industry awareness within UK Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
Your skills and experience
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level in the UK built environment
Strong team leadership skills
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry (construction, engineering, architectural) media outlets
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
