Reports to: Head of PR and brand communications Working hours: Full-time. Fixed term maternity cover, expected duration, 6 months. RoleFixed-term maternity cover for 12 months, reporting to the head of PR and brand communications. You will have a solid understanding of PR and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the in-house press office for Academy Music Group’s nationwide venues and promoting division, Academy Events.About youSignificant and demonstrable experience in a PR Manager role, focussing on music, media and managing multiple campaignsProven track record executing successful campaigns and promotional servicesA strong network of media connections and established PR relationships in a variety of media outletsSuperior written and oral communication skillsPassion for the live events industryProven experience pitching stories to music and media publicationsConfidence in identifying press opportunitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPointWhat we needDynamic and detail orientatedHigh level communication skillsStrong work ethicExtremely organised, self-motivated and deadline-drivenA proactive team player and collaborative by natureKnack for diplomacy and the confidence to engage with all levelsUnderstanding of the wider industry and ever-changing media landscapeFlexibility to work irregular hours

holidays)What you’ll be doing Supporting the day-to-day running of the press office and team
Oversee the coordination of daily press coverage and media reporting
Preparation and distribution of press materials for PR and promotional purposes
Assist with stock imagery as required (internal and external)
Support the PR team to maximise media exposure of Academy Events shows and tours
Formulate and implement publicity strategies and management of key campaigns in support of the business objectives
Build and maintain excellent press contacts across a varied media landscape
Achieve strong and consistent press coverage
Maintain media databases and contacts across all media outlets
Manage and update an online press site for distribution of assets (artist and venue)
Attend press events and meetings as required
Create and generate press coverage reports
(daily/weekly/monthly)
to inform key stakeholders, the wider business and campaign partners
Write concise media messages for digital channels and social media
