Job Title: PR Executive

Location: City of London, UK

Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum

About Us:

Our client is a renowned Luxury Investment, E-comm and Retail company based in London, specialising in luxury goods and collectibles such as whisky, watches, fine wine, classic cars, gold, and designer handbags. They are quickly growing and as a result are looking to expand the brilliant creative marketing team, particularly with their first luxury retail store opening in June this year.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious PR Executive. With a solid understanding of PR principles and strategies, as well as experience in event management, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join a brilliant marketing team and contribute to our client's reputation and brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the external PR agency to develop and execute PR campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation for the 3 core facets of the business: Cask Investment, E-commerce and the brands in-person Luxury Retail experience in Knightsbridge

  • Assist in managing media relations, including drafting press releases, pitching stories to journalists, and responding to media inquiries.

  • Creating tailored campaigns for each of the core 3 facets of the business, this might mean tailoring the language, PR approach or tone of voice depending on whether you're working on PR for their Cask Investment, E-Commerce or their luxury retail experience.

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports to track PR performance and effectiveness for each of the 3 core offerings

  • Coordinate and organise events, including press conferences, product launches, and client events. These will need to be carefully considered and supported by strategic thinking depending on which part of the business they cater to. For example, client trips for cask investors, tasting events at the retail location and new product launches on our e-commerce site will all need to reflect the right PR approach and TOV for their specific audiences.

  • Support the development of PR materials such as media kits, fact sheets, and backgrounders for retail, e-commerce and cask investment.

  • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.

  • Assist in crisis communication efforts, including drafting statements and coordinating responses.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of PR activities with broader marketing objectives.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to identify PR opportunities and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PR, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.

  • Strong understanding of PR approaches, best practices, and strategies.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.

  • Experience in event management, including planning, coordination, and execution.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
