We are Health Unlimited and we are looking for an Account Director to join our communications and PR team. You will work with the brightest and most ambitious colleagues in health communications as well as across creative, digital and medical education. You will have excellent account handling skills and the competency to deliver the effective strategy and direction needed to ensure results.
Working across a range of projects, you will take pride in delivering exceptional communications programmes and will be highly organised and forward thinking to ensure that your clients’ needs are met. You are looking to develop, grow and go above and beyond on all your accounts. Please note, this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week required in the London (Soho) office.A bit about the job…Account responsibilities On-going effective direction and management of all accounts under your remit. Client liaison and consulting on the strategic direction of accounts under your remit. Proactive development of existing accounts through identification of opportunities for growth and conversion into new or ongoing work from clients. Demonstrate good forward planning and anticipation skills and demand excellence of the account team. Demonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client expectations. Regular and appropriate updates with the management team. In-depth and confident understanding of clients’ strategic goals. Provide insights into new therapy areas quickly and confidently. Financial responsibilities Ensuring accounts under your remit are profitable and over-service is kept to a minimum. Financial reporting and forecasting of accounts to Associate Directors and Finance as assigned to you. Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, budget tracking and reconciling by the team. New business responsibilities Identification of new business opportunities in target areas. Confident development and presentation of new business proposals. Delivering on organic growth targets of existing clients. Mentor/line-manage multiple team members within the company and help develop their ability and experience through coaching and experience building. Involvement in account team development and structure.
Manage timings and implementation of account deliverables with confidence and accuracy. Excellent client handling experience and expertise. Effective financial planning and awareness of the implications of profitability. Strong presentation skills and experience in developing new business proposals. High standards in grammar and understanding of the editorial skills needed for excellence in communication. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail. Understanding of end user needs (Journalist, Patient, KOL, HCP, client, etc).
