Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a PPA Teacher to cover classes in a Primary School in Brierley Hill.
The school requires a flexible PPA teacher to cover classes across all year groups from Reception to Year 6. This role is a full-time position and is a long-term to continue until the end of the academic year.
As a PPA Teacher you are not expected to plan lessons but will be required to teach pre-planned lessons in an engaging way, other responsibilities of this role include marking pupils work and feeding assessments back to the class teacher. This role would suit an experienced teacher who loves teaching children but requires a better work-life balance.
Required skills and experience for this PPA Teacher Role:
To hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
To hold a high expectation of pupils behaviour.
The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups.
To be able to work in partnership with the Teaching assistant in the class and other staff in the school.
To create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
The benefits of a PPA Teacher working for Flourish Education:
£125 to £170 per day which equates to £24,375 to £33,150 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
