Job DescriptionPowerBI Developer | Permanent | Hybrid, LondonRole overviewSitting within the international data analytics team, this new role will focus on developing our reporting offering across our offices. We are looking for an experienced professional, ideally from the insurance industry, who can proactively work with key business stakeholders to develop reports from various data sources which meet the business's needs. This role is essential to providing underwriting, claims, operations, data, bordereaux and IT teams with the insight it needs to drive the business forwards. The candidate will also work closely and collaboratively with IT, and various IT project teams. The successful candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced, agile, dynamic environment.Role responsibilitiesDesign and implementation of reports in Power BIProviding user-friendly reports and dashboards and continuously improve themProactively collaborate with the team of international data analystsError analysis and testing of data consistency and data quality, as well as corresponding documentationContact person for user support (Operation requests)Key requirementsExpert Power BI knowledge and Power BI StackHighly skilled report and dashboard developmentStrong SQL skills (data extraction and enrichment using advanced functions)Knowledge of ETL using a variety of data sourcesAble to interrogate, manipulate, cleanse and transform dataExperience working in an agile manner using Azure Dev OpsInsurance or Reinsurance understandingFamiliarity using Salesforce, specifically Industries and Financial Force is a plus though not essentialAbility to work quickly, efficiently and methodicallyA strong team player who is confident in their abilityStrong presentation skills and the ability to think strategicallyProactively sharing 'what works best' with others across the organisationActively listen to the views of colleagues and business leaders in order to derive new requirements from themPlanning and organisational skills and the ability to set priorities
