POS Supervisor

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced POS Supervisor to work for an established POS/POP manufacturer based in LeicesterThis position is a straight permanent positionThe Job:
Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 4pm finish on a FridaySalary is £30,000 - 35,000 based on your experienceYou will play an active role on the shop floor with the assembly teamSupport and lead your team to ensure outputs and target are achievedMonitor output per hour to meet and exceed output targetsEnsure labour is effectively utilised at all times (including minimising overtime)Chase finished parts from other departmentsAssemble and sign off first off's ready for productionSetting production linesSetting producing timings and ensuring timing run rates are metChasing the warehouse to ensure items arrive in time to meet deadlinesEnsuring that jobs are carried out as expected and within the time frames expectedEnsuring that all relevant paperwork is up to date28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday
About You:
Previous experience within the POS industry is desirablePrevious supervisor or team leader experience is requiredGood attention to detailBe able to deal with any disciplinary matters that ariseGood time managementAble to demonstrate a problem solving mentalityStrong communication skillsFlexible as overtime will be available and occasionally shifts required based on projectsCarry out other duties as required
