POS Representative & Crane ControllerJob DescriptionOur client pays a key role within the rail industry and provides a wide range of off-track solutions in partnership with main rail contractors. Our client has recently seen significant growth and has recently been awarded Principal Contractor to major contractors within the rail industry.The vacancy is that of a POS (Plant Operations Scheme) Representative and Crane Controller. You will also be required to carry out COSS (Controller of Site Safety) duties. This would be on a full-time (Monday to Friday, 0730 to 1630 with a 1-hour unpaid break), permanent basis. You will be working in direct support of the in-house track plant team and will help to deliver safe operations on a wide range of projects along the railway.You will also be responsible for the onsite management of OTP (On-Track Plant) operations and act as the point of contact to ensure that all works are delivered safely and efficiently, on time and to budget. Prior to work, you’ll take responsibility for the preparation and issue of POS packs, lift plans and documents in line with the company’s procedures and regulations.
