They are the largest single provider of 2nd and 3rd year student accommodation in the UK, leading the way in offering exceptional student accommodation.We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join the team as a Portfolio Manager in Newcastle.Portfolio Manager Responsibilities:To assist with the lettings, property management & customer service team for the property portfolioTo achieve or exceed planned rent income and expenditure targets and budgetsManage the transition & integration of new acquisitions into the businessEnsure the appearance & presentation of their properties meets expected high standardsDevelop, manage & motivate their ambassador and agent network to achieve letting & financial objectivesEnsure compliance with statutory, industry code & best practice requirementsStrengthen adherence to existing operational processes & standardsOrganise & manage annual tenant handover process planning and delivery each summerSupport the implementation and embedding of planned new digital business processesAddress & resolve escalated issues & complaints in a timely & efficient mannerResearch, monitor & report on market activity in existing and target citiesTo carry out any reasonable request from the senior management team and to work flexibly across the organisation as required.Portfolio Manager Requirements:Strong HMO and/or purpose-built student housing sector experience or property management and lettings experience: 2 - 5 years (preferred)Excellent organisation & time management skillsGreat team working skills - able to work well with a wide range of peopleStrong budget management credentials & accountabilityConfident, particularly when talking on the phoneCan adapt to new tasks on a daily basisCommitted to providing excellent level of customer service from initial contact through to tenancy endAble to manage multiple projects running concurrentlyRequirements: Satisfactory references and a DBS check required.In the first instance please apply by forwarding your CVPlease contact Vicky at our Manchester officeRitz recruitment – Employment AgencyJBRP1_UKTJ
