The role: Portfolio Management Office Lead If you enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic & agile environment, we have an exciting opportunity in the Transformation team to lead and contribute to the successful delivery of BA's key strategic projects. As a PMO Lead, you will be responsible for managing all PMO related activities in line with best practice within an assigned programme, ensuring the successful achievement of the defined business objectives to time, to budget and with agreed scope and quality. The role will see you engaging and leading a broad set of partners across the business at all levels of the organisation (individuals & teams) working to drive results in a complex environment, finding innovative & creative solutions to ultimately deliver the programme's vision and associated benefits. Your proven leadership & communication skills are going to be crucial in this role, as well as the ability to think both strategically but equally comfortable handling more detailed aspects of the programme. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop a range of key skills, as well as being at the forefront of delivering BA's Transformation ambitions. Your experience:
Demonstrable experience of successful delivery of PMO activities within specific programmes Good effective communication, influencing at a team level (written and verbal) and successfully manage expectations Ability to effectively influence individuals & teams (direct/indirect), working together to delivery results Ability to work under pressure and handle issues creating, seeking guidance and clarity where necessary Proven experience in Programme resource planning, scheduling and forecasting. As well as risk management and budget & benefit tracking
