Role Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Manager to join our family of talented people in the Business Change team.
As the PMO Manager you will play an active role in shaping, establishing and delivering Portfolio Management practices to Allianz Personal business operations across the UK and in raising the level of change delivery capability.
The PMO Manager contributes to the aim that team members work together and support each other in the provision of all Portfolio Management capabilities.
Your focus:
Primary focus in driving the Portfolio service model to align with business needs.
Focus areas will include championing and developing capability in delivery assurance and change risk management.
Provide support for other team members when necessary, particularly to aid personal and team achievement and ongoing development.
To look for opportunities to improve Portfolio Management capability quality and value of output, innovative ideas are particularly encouraged.
Provides all Programme and Epic reporting artefacts to interested management team/s.
Supplies portfolio analysis and challenge in support of the overall management of the portfolio and prioritisation process thereof.
Actively involved in identifying and managing dependencies across the portfolio.
Provides necessary insight into Portfolio financials to improve transparency of change spend.
Ensures Portfolio Quality is achieved through application of relevant quality standards.
Provides planning support where required.
Provides control of scope and milestones.
About you
To be successful for the role you will have PMO/Project Management qualifications demonstrating an understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies, Best Practice, Governance standards, e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMI, P3O, MOP and a number of years’ experience managing a Portfolio/PMO function.
You will have experience within Change Delivery, Portfolio Management Functions, Project / Programme Offices or other.
You will have excellent written or verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and when required the ability to Influence and negotiate to achieve timely resolution.
You will be able to manage relationships with stakeholders and external customers driving process improvements.
You will have experience of leadership and management of people with the willingness to lead, motivate and inspire others to achieve their full potential.
You will have previous experience working in high pressure environment with time bound activities.
You will be a Self-starter with the ability to work independently when needed
Our Ways of Working
The role can be based across sites in LVGI Croydon office, 69 Park Lane, Croydon CR9 1BG
or Allianz London Office,60 Gracechurch Street , London
EC3V 0HR. As the PMO Manager you’ll be working closely with the entire team across these offices.
Our office with flex model means that you will have the opportunity to work from home as well as the office. As a hybrid worker you will be in the office between 2 and 16 days per month depending on individual and business need. This will be discussed at interview stage.
