At Aegon, we strive in creating a diverse organisation that plays a meaningful role in driving greater equity, inclusion and belonging.Our Transformation and Change function are responsible for the development and maintenance of the annual change portfolio and transformation roadmap, the delivery of all initiatives, projects and programmes within the portfolio, and the ongoing evolution of the Aegon UK Change Management framework, governance and reporting.The main purpose of the role is to drive the standardisation and optimisation of the controlled provision of PMO delivery mechanisms and performance for the annual Aegon UK Change Portfolio in support of the Head of PMO, owning the continued development of best practice for our Change Portfolio planning approach and management.Key Responsibilities:Own the set up and ongoing management of the Delivery PMO Team required to support the annual Change PortfolioEstablish the process and guidelines for engagement with and support of Programmes and Projects in partnership with other members of the PMO Senior Management Team and Change Leadership TeamOwn the oversight view of the cross-portfolio delivery of progress versus plan and including all data/information required for Portfolio ManagementEnsure appropriate governance mechanisms are in place across all projects and programmes to monitor and manage Portfolio level delivery.Own the set up and ongoing maintenance of the regular processes and timetables required to ensure consistent and effective delivery management support across the annual portfolioSupport our Head of PMO and Change Management Team with key metrics, advice and guidance to ensure that continuous improvement is at the heart of all delivery managementWe’d love to hear from you if you have:Extensive experience within a PMO Management role, with significant involvement in transformation delivery and team management.Demonstrable experience of driving digital delivery activities in a complex environmentProven ability to support development of a strategy as well as execute the tactical implication of that strategyDemonstratable experienced developing and maintaining an Enterprise PMO strategy and functionComfortable with agile delivery methodologies and executionExperience of engaging executive level stakeholders to educate and explore digital transformation opportunitiesPracticed and well-developed research and analytical capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, and creative thinkingYou are curious to explore an unknown or uncertain future and never stop learning from customers, colleagues, and the external environment.What’s in it for you?A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance38 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our employees live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.The legal bitsWe’ll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK.
