Project Management AnalystGlasgow As a Barclays Project Management Analyst, you will be focused on supporting Corporate Data Services and its Project Management Office (PMO) team. What will you be doing?• Ensuring excellent governance and compliance with standards• Supporting business cases, stakeholder management, working groups, governance forums, milestone management, project closure, change requests, lessons learnt, & reporting• Helping with financial forecasting, workforce management, forecast discrepancy analysis, role allocation, timesheet management, and interfacing with Business Management teams & HR• Engaging with stakeholders at all levels within and outside CDS (e.g. Portfolio Execution, Portfolio Working Group, Finance, senior management, PMOs in other business areas• Driving project analytics and reporting, including but not limited to provision of MI on change control, finances, RAIDS, etc. with supporting commentaries and insights• Pursuing consistently excellent outputs – e.g. standardisation of project artefacts to support delivery and to improve our ways of working across the wider CDS delivery team• Coordinating/executing administrative and support activities – e.g. hiring; inductions; compliance; coordinating meetings; holidays; queries; maintaining PMO data quality, etc)• Leading effective operation of existing processes and implementation of new /revised processes and tools to drive PMO goals, improve efficiency and inform decision making What we’re looking for:• Sound experience of the project management lifecycle and the governance aspects thereof• Excellent Excel skills underpinned by a robust understanding of how to analyse financial and project data• Wide interest in reporting, excellent presentation skills and an eye for detail coupled with excellent PowerPoint knowledge and presentation skills, sound stakeholder management• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to write and present a range of written materials and communicating with stakeholders at all levels in various global locations Skills that will help you in the role:• Experience of developing and managing data reporting would be advantageous, with a background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets are highly preferred• Knowledge in program/project management, and delivery and implementation of large technology solutions• Good understanding of system development life cycle, project management and system implementation lifecycle methodologies• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, ability to quickly absorb information, conceptual and creative problem-solving excellence Where will you be working?Our new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
