You'd be joining the college's highly-regarded construction team, working alongside other talented lecturers and assessors passing on their skills to the next generation.ResponsibilitiesTrack the progress of Level 1,2 and 3 Plumbing studentsMake on-site visits to students with work placements and ensure they're applying correct practices.Carry out marking and assessments.QualificationsIdeally teaching Assessing qualifications (A1, TAQA etc.), however this college is more than happy to take on vastly experienced and qualified Plumbers/Gas Engineers who are keen to take the jump into the education sector.Level 3 / Advanced craft in Plumbing or other related qualification of an equal level is essential.Unqualified Assessors can benefit off of a market leading package for trainee educators.Generous annual leave entitlement plus up to 4 free College Closure days a yearDovetail and Slate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, applicants and clients to share this commitment.This role may involve work with under 18's or vulnerable adults.
