Position - Reactive Plumber (Ideally Commercial)

Location - Leeds

Salary/Package - £32,000 - £40,000 (dependent on Experience) Van/Fuel Card, Career progression, PPE & Tools, OT available, 20 days holiday excluding banks.

Client

My client has spent over 25 years committed to hospital water systems and the management of potential waterborne pathogens within them. Working closely with the NHS, the services are paramount to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both hospital staff and their patients.

My client offers complete water systems management, all industrial plant and pipework applications (including installations, upgrades, and maintenance) and planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services on all existing and proposed systems.

We are now looking for a Commercial plumber, located within an hour of Leeds, to work regionally. If you are talented, flexible, and experienced in the reactive/remedials sector, including plant rooms, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Deliver a Great Customer service and experience to our clients - bring your personality to work and be personable and polite.
  • Read and understand site plans and schematics.
  • Order and track task specific materials and equipment.
  • Able to keep clear and concise records, including photographic evidence.
  • All documentation to be completed thoroughly to the company standards.
  • Be a clear and accurate coordinator and have good customer facing skills.
  • Able to control stock and ensure levels are always correct.
  • Look after company property including van and tools.
  • A can-do Attitude is essential and being able to multitask.
  • Essential to be planned and organised and being able to work to tight time schedules.
  • Ensure company standards are always delivered, including being in work uniform and a presentable appearance.
  • Be willing to travel nationwide and occasionally stay away from home when necessary.
  • Be able to survey jobs and produce quotations.

You must have or hold:


  • NVQ Level 2, ideally level 3 Plumbing
  • G3 Unvented - (Desirable)
  • Full UK Licence
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS Check (Vital)

We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
