Our business
Our Oil & Gas Operator client are recruiting for Plug & Abandonment Supervisors, both Day & Night to join the team on long term abandonment campaign in the Southern North Sea.

Key Responsibilities and background:
Responsible for planning, site supervision, logistics, and documentation of the execution of P&A activities.
The DSV works closely with the Ops Office team (Ops engineers and Well Operations Team Lead to make well informed decisions/recommendations to support the ongoing well operations including selection and optimization of services; materials; fluid systems; operational techniques, operational efficiencies, cost tracking, and management of project risks.
Provide input on well programs, including details around HSSE, well control, equipment, contractors, etc.
Safety leadership - Responsible for delivering the safe execution of the of P&A activities.
Ensures that HSSE is fully integrated with the highest priority in the preparation and execution of the P&A operations.
Support the implementation, promotes and uses the company safety program in the execution of the P&A operations. Ensure that other safety management tools are fully utilized to minimize risk, (e.g. Risk Assessments, MoC, LMRA, safety cards)
Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are appropriately reported and are subject to the required level of investigation where necessary.
Be part of the local rig start up team. Involved in the rig/unit start up audit and start-up assurance activities against the regulatory/company requirements. Coordinates and supports with the action close out towards final rig acceptance / statement of fitness.
Lead well cost tracking and job timing during execution on the site, including differentiating trouble costs/time from expected costs/time. Work closely with the Ops engineer and cost controller supporting the actual well spend and latest estimates.
Coach and mentor less experienced team members to deliver best-in-class performance in HSSE, cost and time.
Provide input and suggestions on service contracts to enable high performance. Manage contractor services in the field in line with the contracting strategy and the goals of the office based Well Operations team.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
IWCF L4
Proven wells site supervisor experience for the delivery of P&A activities.
Site supervisor experience of Workover / Drilling operations is beneficial. Design experience with P&A / WO / Drilling activities is beneficial.
Strong Stakeholder integration and influencing skills.
Fluent in English. Dutch is beneficial but not strictly required.
