The PLC Software Engineer will have at least 1-3 years relevant/commercial experience post-graduation.Key aspects to the PLC Software Engineer position include;You’ll need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as you’ll be put through basic level security clearance.The successful PLC Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automation, safety and material tracking systems, which will include writing PLC programs from scratch.Experience in the use of Siemens system components and development toolsThe management team encourages a sensible work-life balance with the MD making sure people leave the office by 4.30pm between Mondays and Thursdays and 12:30pm on FridaysWrite specifications and system documentationPreparation of test plansThe company encourages and will support Engineers taking on Chartered status / MSc qualifications etc. Qualified to least Degree level30 days holiday per year as well as the statutory Bank HolidaysThe company is a registered Siemens partner and can offer a flexible, friendly working environment as well as the opportunity to work with some very talented engineers.If you’d like to apply, please get in touch!
