MuleSoft is looking for a motivated Platform Solution Engineer to join our extremely talented Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who are instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth. As a Platform Solution Engineer, you will be the trusted technical expert in showing and proving how the Anypoint Platform can meet the customers technical requirements. You will partner closely with Account Solution Engineers and Account Executives to qualify sales opportunities using your technical and product expertise throughout the end-to-end sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success for our customers by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, building complex product demonstrations and POCs. As a passionate technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to business value for the customer. These are the core skills you'll need to be successful:A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customersExcellent verbal communication, presentation abilities and composure in front of all levels of technical audiencesHands-on application development experience in Java, scripting or REST development either in an enterprise or academic environmentWorking knowledge of cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc. is preferredExperience of scoping, managing and building complex Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectivelyCurrent hands on experience with some or all of the following: middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, BPM, RPA.What you’ll achieve:3 months:Become certified in MuleSoft’s Developer trainingsComplete MuleSoft’s sales onboarding programBegin to build your architecture reframe and whiteboarding skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playingCreate a demonstration on a MuleSoft technical topic of interest6 months:Become certified in all Product, Architecture, and Sales Messaging trainingsDeliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audienceDevelop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possiblePut all the pieces together to “perfect your craft” by helping to close deals12 months:Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft products by making technical contributions and by providing feedback from the field to Product Marketing and EngineeringPartner with the Account team on account planning and strategy and support marketing with evangelism activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at industry events, etc.)
