We are currently working with one of the most exciting and innovative tech businesses based out of Leeds who have a reputation for tech innovation backed up by various awards.
They are looking to hire a
2x Platform Engineers
to join their expanding engineering team.
They offer a close to remote work model but encourage 1 - 2 days in the office per month.
You will be given the opportunity to own your projects, from concept and inception, all the way through to production. You will be responsible for the quality of deployment pipelines, ensuring the resilience, capacity, performance, repeatability, security, scalability of the platforms. You will also be expected to drive a pro-active approach to platform monitoring and improvements that meets the needs of the consumers.
The systems you will be working on have a huge focus on scalability and availability. They handle billions of pounds worth of transactions each year. The most important thing for someone coming into this role is that tech is at the heart of everything they do. They invest heavily in the technology you will use but crucially in yourself as an individual and will put in place clear progression plans and listen to any ideas you have.
You will get to work with the latest tech from microservices to automation technologies including AWS, Elasticsearch, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes etc, as well as taking full responsibility for creating a state-of-the-art infrastructure, based on a microservices architecture, for a system which will be used by millions of people.

They are offering an excellent benefits package, a 20% yearly bonus and a salary up to 58k (Mid level) and up to 68k (senior).
