Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricating and welding structural components.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Operating various tools and machinery.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Following health and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship served or NVQ Level 3 equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience in marine/ship repair.
  • Proven expertise in fabrication and welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Full SC clearance (Security Check) or willingness to undergo the clearance process.

Suitable candidates must be apprenticeship served or NVQ level 3 equivalent and come from a marine/shiprepair background.

Due to the nature of the projects full SC clearance is required. If this is held currently at another site it can be transferred.

Umbrella co rates:

Mon - Fri - �29.81
OT Mon - Fri - �28.30
OT Sat & Sun, Early & Lates - �32.34
Nights - �30.32
Standard week:
Mon- Thursday 4 x 8hrs
Friday - 4hrs

The standard week is 36 hours, OT available project dependant.
The initial contract is 3 months, starting on 20th May.
