Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating and welding structural components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Operating various tools and machinery.
- Ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Following health and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Apprenticeship served or NVQ Level 3 equivalent in a relevant field.
- Significant experience in marine/ship repair.
- Proven expertise in fabrication and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Full SC clearance (Security Check) or willingness to undergo the clearance process.
Suitable candidates must be apprenticeship served or NVQ level 3 equivalent and come from a marine/shiprepair background.
Due to the nature of the projects full SC clearance is required. If this is held currently at another site it can be transferred.
Umbrella co rates:
Mon - Fri - �29.81
OT Mon - Fri - �28.30
OT Sat & Sun, Early & Lates - �32.34
Nights - �30.32
Standard week:
Mon- Thursday 4 x 8hrs
Friday - 4hrs
The standard week is 36 hours, OT available project dependant.
The initial contract is 3 months, starting on 20th May.
