PLASTIC FABRICATION MANAGER

We are recruiting an experienced Plastic Fabrication Manager to join a well established plastic moulding and fabrication company in Hull. This is a Permanent Vacancy, offering a starting salary of �30,000 - �35,000 (dependant on experience).

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Thursday 8am - 6pm

Start date / Duration

The Plastic Fabrication Manager role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

As a Plastic Fabrication Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in a key leadership role that requires strong organisational and managerial skills. Day to day you will be expect to;

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s and provide feedback for professional development
  • Programme and use the CNC machine
  • Programme and use the Vacuum Forming machines
  • Trouble shooting and fixing CNC, Vacuum Forming and Bandsaw machines
  • Carrying out assembly work
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement processes

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Plastic Fabrication Manager you must have;

� Experience in Vacuum forming

� Experience in programming and using a CNC machine

� Previous experience working in an operations management role or similar

� Have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

� Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

� Exceptional organisational and time management skills

� Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

� Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
