Position Overview: As a Plant Operative, you will be a crucial member of the team, responsible for the operation of the plant machinery and equipment. Your expertise and commitment to safety will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate plant machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Help with the mixing of various ingredients to meet production targets and quality standards.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve operational objectives.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to plant operations.
Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Assist in the implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in plant operations or a related field is an advantage but not essential.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy objects.
