Plant Manager

Isla Rose is recruiting for an experienced plant manager on behalf of an established business in Stoke. As a plant manager, you will be responsible for the immobilisation plant department at a hazardous waste site, managing a multi skilled team to achieve business goals. Experience within hazardous waste management is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be educate to degree level within Chemistry or a similar field.

This role is available on a permanent contract.

Key Duties

• Manage incoming consignments


• Manager labour and resources


• Ensure testing is completed correcting


• Liaise with transport companies


• Support development projects


• Risk assessments


• Ensure safe loading and unloading


• Promote HSE policies


• Ensure waste storage is compliant


• Lead and strengthen the plant team

Experience/qualifications

• Hazardous waste preferred


• HNC or degree in Chemistry or similar


• Office packages


• Management

The working week will be Monday to Friday.

The salary for this role will be around �35000.
