As an Operating Engineer specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and utilities, you will be responsible for ensuring the GMP-compliant operation and maintenance of ventilation and air systems within our Biological facilities.Responsibilities:* Overseeing technical operations of HVAC and utilities systems, including the generation and distribution of WFI, purified water, pure steam, and ultrapure gases in compliance with GMP and EHS standards* Acting as a subject matter expert in projects, providing necessary technical insights* Presenting assigned systems during customer and authority audits* Handling deviations, CAPAs, and change controls* Leading cross-functional project teams comprised of technicians and mechanics* Reviewing and approving re-qualification documentsYour requirements profile:* University degree or technical college degree (Master/Bachelor/Dipl. Ing.) in building technology, supply technology, pharmaceutical engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, technician training with substantial professional experience* Experience in plant and operating technology* Proficiency with systems for producing and distributing WFI, purified water, pure steam, and ultrapure gases* Familiarity with refrigeration and ventilation systems to maintain clean room conditions in pharmaceutical production, including relevant regulatory requirements (GMP)* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within the company* Proficiency in English and German* Familiarity with computer-based systems such as COMOS and SAP is advantageousKey Benefits:* Median salary of 110,000 CHF (dependent on experience, academic background, and certifications)* Annual bonus of 13%* Pension contribution ratio of 60:40 (employer-employee ratio; standard in Switzerland is 50:50)* Flight tickets and visa sponsorship for employee and family members* Monthly child allowance (scaling based on age, starting from 380 CHF per month)* Assistance with opening a bank account* Relocation package* 75% reimbursement of commute expenses* 25 days of annual leave* Premium insurance discounts* Additional employee-only benefits (details available upon inquiry)
