Plant Area Manager - Full Time

Scotsdales are seeking a Plant Area Manager to join their Horningsea team.We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic plants person to mange both our indoor and outdoor plants offering at the Horningsea Centre. The successful candidate will have a set day off each week, working every other weekend.Responsibilities will include:Buy every day stock for both the indoor and outdoor plant areasEnsure the highest retailing standards across the department, i.e. product is priced, well presented, neatly displayedProvide the best possible customer serviceManage a small team of general assistantsManage wastage within appropriate levelsReact appropriately to weather events, i.e. frost / heatwaveCarryout and oversee general department maintenance, including weeding, pruning, watering etc.Have overall responsibility for the plants in your departmentCommunicate and collaborate effectively with colleaguesBe an ambassador for Scotsdales valuesRequirements of the Role:Must be able to follow instructions and able to work in greenhouses and outdoors in all weathersWork well under pressureProfessionalism and reliabilityGood time managementHighly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeedHow to apply:Please send all CV applications ##### for further information contact us directly at #####
