Description:

This post is for the recruitment of a ''Planning Officer" based at Monkton Park, Wiltshire, SN15 1ER.

• Pay Rate: �17.02/per hour via Umbrella


• 37 hours per week


• Initial 3-month contract with chance of extension


• Hybrid Working

Role:

Monitoring and enforcement of prescribed regulatory areas, which will include but not limited to, recommendations regarding infringement, resolution advice, event based activities.

Provision of services of a technical, vocational or specialist operational nature to internal and external customers. To provide legal / regulatory /statutory monitoring and enforcement support within a specific work area.

Skills Required:

• Some relevant professional experience post qualification in a similar work environment.


• Expert knowledge of relevant policy, systems, work practices, professional guidelines, legislation in the area of specialism.


• Excellent ICT skills including use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems.


• Good knowledge of other areas of the authority relevant to the service. Knowledge of wider sector / external influences.


• Experience of representing the work area externally

Requirement:

Recognised planning qualification (degree level) and eligible for membership of Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)�Or��Recognised conservation qualification (degree level) and eligible for Membership of Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) or an equivalent and recognised organisation.
