Planning Manager

A great opportunity for a Material Manager to join my client a fast paced, rapidly growing supply chain team. As the Material Manager you'll be leading a small team and responsible for management of stock at the hub and across multiple production locations. You'll also be responsible for supplier management and for maintaining stock components in the ERP system - we are looking for a collaborative, problem solving individual who is happy to delve into the detail. Key responsibilities will include;Manage movement of stock across production sites needed for the next cycle and monitor safety stockCreate and share a forecast of materials with suppliersManage stock recount and reconciliation for each production site for month endTaking on process improvement projectsBuild and develop relationships with suppliers and co-packersLead and develop the team on a daily basisThe ideal candidate will have the following;Graduate calibre or equivalent working experienceProven experience in a planning role from a fast paced FMCG environmentExperience managing a teamHighly numerate with a strong attention to detailAbility to manage stakeholders at varying levelsStrong IT skills, SAP advantageousYou'll be joining a fast paced, dynamic environment where you'll have the opportunity to grow, develop and be exposed to cross functional projects. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 2 times a week. Salary paying from £55,000 - £60,000 + bonus and benefits Hit apply for more details.
