They are looking for an experienced Planning & Estimating Engineerto work with the team to streamline business processes. Reporting directly into the Lead Planning & Estimating Engineer, you’ll be a pivotal part of the business in supporting key deliverables, from customer bid packages, to leading NPI projects and supporting the cost improvement plans of the business.

As Planning & Estimating Engineer, you’ll 





  • Assist with the preparationof customer bid packages, considering net profit and maximising profit margins 


  • Be a key member in leading NPI Projects, throughliaising with stakeholders and start to finish project planning 


  • Support cost improvement plans through identifying areas of improvementand preventable measures 


  • Implement engineering standards and processes to support workplace improvement and standardisation 




To be the next Planning & Estimating Engineer, You’ll have: 





  • HNC/ NVQ4 qualification 


  • Experience precision engineering manufacturing 


  • Project planning experience 








  • The ability to produce accuratetechnical quotations 


  • A knowledge and understanding of technical drawings and documents 


  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly with Excel
