3D & 4D Modeller & Planning Engineer
London - hybrid (3 days per week on site)
Permanent
£37,000 - £46,000 per annum
Due to continuing success and expansion, our client is now looking for a Planning Engineer to provide 3D (& some 4D) construction and logistics sequences for projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will need to have a track record of working in the construction sector either with main contractor, subcontractor, or design consultant.
My client works on many projects that has the main focus of creating designs for sustainable buildings, so having 4D BIM modelling experience is highly desirable.
The Key Responsibilities of a Planner – 3D & 4D Modelling:
Produce construction programmes in Asta PowerProjects – P6 Primavera.
Produce detailed 3D models from 2D design information where required.
Produce 3D construction and logistics sequence including plant, access equipment, site set up etc.
Produce visual images/videos for presentations and tender material.
Work collaboratively with wider project teams to ensure quality product produced.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Planner – 3D & 4D Modelling role, however you will not be expected to have everything:
Working within the construction Industry.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as planning engineer.
Knowledge of construction methodologies and processes.
Proven 3D modelling experience.
Good working knowledge of software such as – Sketchup, 3dsMax, Revit, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, PowerPoint etc.
Construction related portfolio of previous work to review as part of interview process.
Synchro Pro 4D experience advantageous.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
Ideally educated to degree standard in a construction/design related subject
