Planning Engineer

The Nuclear industry is one of the most thriving and growing industries in the UK, and our client are a driving force in managing major Decommissioning projects as part of a Global superpower in Energy!

The role of a Planning Engineer involves overseeing project planning and monitoring across all stages. Utilising Primavera P6 software, the planner ensures efficient project methodologies and timely delivery. They identify and address rectification actions while influencing relevant parties.

Suitable for:
This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in Primavera P6, infrastructure projects, and project controls techniques. Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project plans, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Plan work and timescales of decommissioning projects.
• Analyse changes to project plans and manage critical paths.
• Develop and maintain internal planning processes and instructions, defining project programmes.
• Foster positive relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Provide project performance data and schedules as needed.

What we need from you?

• Proven Planning experience in highly regulated Energy sector
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 software is essential
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure projects
• Experience working with NEC contracts highly desirable
  

Location: Whitehaven
Perm: �65k + Car Allowance
Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
