Vacancy: Infrastructure Planning Director (Energy)

Do you want to join a forward-thinking planning consultancy with the opportunity to become an Equity Partner? My client is a thought leader in the future of sustainable, net zero and low carbon planning; they currently work across a multitude of sectors including Renewable Energy and Infrastructure, Commercial, Residential and Mixed-Use. With that being said, my client is looking for a Director to help raise their profile and capabilities across Major Infrastructure and Wind Power, as well as supporting the delivery of their existing portfolio. While the business is based in Central London, if you are a candidate who lives in another location then my client is open to setting up a new hub; it is worth noting that if you are based outside of Southern England, there is an expectation for you (in the future) to lead and build out a team. Due to several factors, candidates located in the North West of England and Scotland are of particular interest to my client.
Key responsibilities:
Providing strategic advice to clients;
Driving business growth through prospecting, engaging and winning work;
Management of internal and external consultants;
Fostering a proudly supportive, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment;
Management of existing client relationships.
Candidate requirements:
MRTPI;
Experience leading a range of projects including Major Infrastructure and ideally including Wind Power;
A track record of winning new business;
An entrepreneurial spirit;
Experience leading teams and delegating effectively.
