Planning Analyst

The business in the UK and Europe generates revenues of over £280 million.Job DescriptionAs a key member of the Planning team, this role is responsible for the maintenance and development of critical business reporting and data collection across the Demand and Supply planning team. Key areas of Reporting will include forecast accuracy trend analysis, demand planning processes, Stock and Inventory KPI’s, Conformance to Plan metrics, Raw material risks, Integrated Business Planning budgets and latest estimates, customer demand insights and New Product Development data reviews.Additionally, the IBP Analyst will assume responsibility for some demand planning tasks relating to smaller accounts as well as providing absence cover for demand planners.Key AccountabilitiesMaintain integrity of demand planning systems and softwarePrepare and maintain relevant reports and KPI’s across the demand and supply functionsIntroduce process improvements to maximise forecasting effectiveness & efficiencyAnalysis of data to identify issues and demand exceptionsUse of retailer systems and third-party analytics softwareResponsible for providing planned/unplanned absence coverKey MeasuresTimely Business Intelligence generation and managementMaintenance of Demand Planning systemsQualificationsWork experience in supply chain planning environmentExperience in FMCG supplyGood IT skills, advanced ExcelMaths or Business qualifications an advantage
