Planner | North LondonAs a result of securing an enviable pipeline of projects in Critical Environments of Aviation, Life Sciences and Data Centres, our client are currently seeking skilled and experienced Planners/Schedulers to join our dynamic construction teams in Ireland, London and Northern Europe.As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by overseeing the coordination and scheduling of all design and construction activities. This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious construction company that values relationships, teamwork, innovation, and excellence.REPORTING TO: Director of Projects, InternationalPurpose of RoleAs a Planner with our client, you will be responsible for the coordination and organization of construction projects, developing schedules, coordination of workers and resources, and the monitoring of project progression.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to create project plans that align with client expectations and project deadlines.Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or roadblocks, implementing corrective actions as needed.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and resources.Conduct site visits to assess project progress and update project schedules accordingly.Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential conflicts or risks.The CandidateBachelor's degree in a construction related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or related roleExpert in construction scheduling software P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.Effective track record in Earned Value Methodology and scheduling for NEC contracts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.RemunerationOur client offer a competitive remuneration package to include basic salary, pension and life assurance, healthcare, and a car allowance/company vehicle.
