Planner

We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner to join our team based in Surrey. As a construction planning professional, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating project schedules, ensuring efficient and timely completion of construction projects.Responsibilities:* Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, including timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and create comprehensive construction plans.* Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to identify project scope, constraints, and resource requirements.* Use construction planning software and tools to create Gantt charts, project timelines, and resource allocation plans.* Monitor project progress against established schedules, identify potential delays or conflicts, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project timelines, milestones, and any changes to the construction schedule.* Conduct regular site visits and meetings to assess progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.Requirements:* Proven experience as a Construction Planner or similar role in the construction industry.* Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.* Proficiency in construction planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.* Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in construction planning and scheduling.* Qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or related fields are advantageous.Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.If you are an experienced Construction Planner looking for a challenging role in Surrey, apply now for more information.
