RGB Recruitment has just announced a new opportunity for a Construction Planner to take the lead on a unique and exciting project with a well-known Tier One Principal Contractor on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will oversee the program of works for a large value commercial scheme, manage budgets, and coordinate with estimators, engineers, surveyors, and architects. Don't miss out on this chance to advance your career and make a significant impact in the construction industry.This position will include the following responsibilities:• Produce fully linked Project Programme for Site, Tender or Pre-qualification purposes to identify critical path, float, risk and opportunity• Collaborate with other company staff to ensure that works are planned and organised• Challenge and verify suppliers and sub-contractors programme and methodology• Determine the requirements for Site set-up and independently prepare phasing, logistics and time slices along with associated
methodology/narratives
as required by the tender deliverables• At tender stage liaise with temp works department to obtain design and costings• Obtain quotes for 4D construction simulation and liaise with specialist to produce simulations for
tenders/interviews,
compile prelim books for adjudication• At tender stage liaise with Estimating Team to ensure all attendances are priced (not duplicated) and checks are made to ensure s/c’s have included for MEWP’s, craneage, lifting plant etc• Assist with the PM Report and weekly progress monitoring and populate the planning and controls sections• Ensure client reporting requirements are always met• Independently assess progress against programmes and report findings• Update Project Programme in line with the Contract & identify risks against the baseline• Develop the Programme and supporting documents in line with the form of Contract• Implement the agreed change control process that takes full account of the contract requirements and communicates these requirements across team• Ensure that all activities are planned with time allocated for HSE needs such as documentation and approvals, training, competency checks etc• Use of Asta Power ProjectSend me alerts about jobs like this.Please enter your email address to continue setting up an email alert for similar jobs to this one.
