Job DescriptionCoordinate and plan procurement activities to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Engage in effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to meet supply demands.Analyse supply chain data to identify potential improvements.Implement strategies to optimise inventory control and reduce waste.Respond to any supply chain issues promptly and efficiently.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures.Liaise with other departments to ensure company-wide understanding of supply chain processes. The Successful Applicant A successful Planner should have:Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in supply chain software systems.
