Piping Designer (Plant 3D) - Contract Opportunity - Outside of IR35 - Hybrid Working Available
An opportunity for a Piping Designer to join a well-established organisation who specialise in the delivery of project management services, front-end engineering design, engineering, procurement, construction and asset management to a range of sectors including; Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals and Energy sectors, plus many more.
Due to a high demand for their services the company are currently experiencing growth which has provided the opportunity for a Senior Piping Designer to join their team on a contract basis.

You will work on a variety of projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments, both offshore and onshore.
The position has the potential to extend to a longer term opportunity and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Creating Fabrication ISO's from Plant 3D
• Modelling piping systems and equipment layouts from P&IDs and site sketches
• Creating Fabrication ISO's from Plant 3D
• Drive model reviews and have an ability to create and keep up to date, the federated model
• Develop BOMs at FEED and Procurement stages

Do you have the following skills and experience?

• Degree qualified or HNC in mechanical engineering as a minimum
• BOSIET Certification, Offshore ready
• Experience working in Process related Industries, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Manufacturing
• Previous site based experience, can attend site and carry out site surveys
• Navisworks Plant 3D Experience
• Knowledge of ASME B31, specifically B31.3 Process Piping
